Before the record
DAZN produced two films about Adel Altamimi. One is titled Incredible Journey From Near-Death To MMA. The other is titled Adel Altamimi vs. Al-Qaeda.
The titles belong to the publisher, not to this site, and the films speak for themselves. They are the most complete account of his life before combat sports that exists in public, and they are linked in full below rather than summarised here.
Los Angeles
By 2018 Adel was coaching at Unbreakable Performance in Los Angeles. Chris Pratt posted publicly to thank him for opening the gym on a Sunday. Wiz Khalifa posted from a session earlier the same year.
These are documented training connections and nothing more — they are not endorsements, and no one in them has agreed to appear in a campaign.
Bellator
January 2019: a debut at Bellator 214 against Brandon McMahan, finished in the first round by armbar. Sherdog ran the finish as a highlight the same week.
Bellator and MVP published the signing. The professional MMA record closed at 8 wins and 7 losses, with 7 of those wins by submission.
Humble Warrior
Humble Warrior Gym in Beverly Hills names Adel as its founder. Boxing, MMA, jiu jitsu, Muay Thai and conditioning, with a sauna and an ice bath on site.
It is a working training business, not a personal brand extension — which is what makes it useful to a partner and honest to talk about.
Bare knuckle
Three fights. Three knockouts. Nothing in the loss column. BoxRec carries the record at 3–0.
BKB 60 at the Utilita Arena Newcastle on October 10, 2026 against Liam “Swanny” Howell is the next one, and the first with a global broadcast behind it.
